MISSION
Our mission is to promote meaningful relationships and enhance cultural competency of students and adults in the cities of Sunnyvale, California, USA and Iizuka, Japan. SSCA facilitates the opportunity to travel across the Pacific therefore providing cultural education and experiences that foster appreciation and compassion for another culture.
GOAL
We believe the strength of our communities lie in the everyday lived experiences of diverse human relationships. Through interactive programs and product collaborations that promote cultural competency we hope to strengthen a sense of global community. SSCA supports education beyond the classroom and hopes to strengthen positive attitudes toward cultural differences, increase appreciation of diversity and increase knowledge and awareness of how to effectively interact with people across cultures. SSCA aims to facilitate life changing experiences at home and abroad that increase curiosity of the world while providing enriched cultural learning opportunities.
